Nicole is a human resources executive and former law enforcement leader with nearly 20 years of experience serving Virginia local governments.

She currently serves as Director of Human Resources for Bedford County, Virginia, where she oversees employee relations, workplace investigations, policy development, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment law. She previously served as Senior Human Resources Manager for the City of Lynchburg, supporting employees across public safety and executive departments.

Before transitioning into human resources, Nicole spent nearly a decade with the Lynchburg Police Department, rising to the rank of Sergeant. She supervised personnel, managed internal investigations, maintained CALEA accreditation, and served in specialized roles including Professional Standards Accreditation Manager, Crime Analyst, and Public Information Officer. That firsthand public safety experience gives her a practical understanding of the operational and legal realities unique to law enforcement and emergency services agencies.
