Chris is a public finance executive with 30 years of experience in governmental financial management across Virginia local government, public education, and state agency roles.

He served as Chief Financial Officer for both Chesterfield County Public Schools and Henrico County Public Schools, as Budget Director for the Virginia Department of Education, and as Budget Division Director for Hanover County. That combination of division-level, state-level, and county-level experience gives him a multifaceted understanding of the funding relationship of public education in Virginia.

Throughout his career, Chris has emphasized collaborating with partners to develop multi-year financial plans that are sustainable and continue to meet the operating needs of the organization and community.
